The well laid out and large room with amenities plus. Plenty of supplies in the room: a mini bar and big closet. Good and ideal location near everything and easy access to shopping malls and a market. The hotel of choice in Doha.

We would want to stay there again and can't recommend highly enough this place to friends. The hotel offers an absolutely superb and amazing breakfast with many varieties.

Nothing
Lack of properly trained staff, a functioning business centre, showers that did not flood, one rather than two-three main entrances to the hotel, etc, etc.

Superbly friendly team with her service. We had the double room which was cheap. Free breakfast, the food was high quality!

Location is ok. Room was very large and comfortable. Bathroom was very large with seperate shower and tub. Swimming pool area very good.
The internet is not free which is ridiculous for a 5 star hotel. Breakfast was very poor and very expensive. 100 Riyals and no cerials and no hot food whatsoever. Smoked salmon and cold cuts for breakfast are you kidding? Where were the sausages scrambled and fried eggs, beef bacon etc? Tv was very annoying whilst trying to watch a program it was reverting every 10 minutes back to the main menu. Start again. Water takes at least 10 minutes to run hot. After that it is very good with plenty of pressure

Outstanding presentation and functionality -we upgraded to "executive style" accomodation (for a relativley modest amount) which proved to be one of the best value packages during our holiday

Nothing really, my whole stay was a total mess.
1. The hotel is surrounded by 4 construction sites. The noise starts from very early morning and it doesn't stop till evening. I wasn't aware that I need earplugs to stay there, but I suggest the hotel offers them complimentary. 2. It took me nearly an hour to find the hotel when coming from the Airport.During that time I called the Concierge for location four times and every time I received different guidance. Subsequently,I had 3 business meetings at the hotel with Doha residents. All of them used about an hour to find the location. 3. The furniture in the room look really cheap - especially the sofa and the computer table. The washbasin top in the bathroom is made of the chepest white plastic, which besides being badly scratched already at this brand new hotel, had one whole chipped corner on the left side. That interior fit out is much more suitable for budget Accor Hotels, rather than Intercontinental. 4. The service in that hotel is very slow and terrible. Every time I made a telephone call requesting something, I needed at least 3-4 follow up calls to make sure I was understood. Simple things like matches took 30 min to deliver. 5. On my arrival the mini bar was completely empty - no refreshments or drinks at all. Again, it took an hour to get someone to fill it. 6. My room was on the 34th floor. It usually takes 5 min to get hot water in the shower. 7. The last, but not least important, most of the hotel staff had serious problems in communicating in proper English.

Very helpful staff, the first room I was given did not match the description provided from Booked.net, ie separate living area. When I mentioned this staff immediately re located me to a room with separate living area. Lovely room, extrememly comfortable and stunning bathroom. Located close to good shopping centre which is a bonus as in hot dusty conditions it is a good option to pass time in Doha indoors.
No day spa as yet, and smoking allowed in the one restaurant which I tried is pretty unpleasant for non smokers.

I really enjoyed my stay, especially the spacious room and the amazing city views from the pool on the 45th floor. The housekeeping was great. The in-room dining was also fantastic, with quick service and delicious meals. I appreciated the attentiveness and care that staff like Biraj provided .
